My review is based on demo version 2.0.5.
#Steam heroes of might and magic free full#
It looks like it was developed with Full HD and higher resolutions, this collides with overall retro feel. Sadly, game has numerous problems with UI. It can quickly add up and get old, at least for me it seemed that way anyways. I think it can take about at least a minute and upwards to finish the longer the game goes, especially in large maps so oof. Anyways, if you could put something that could make it quicker to finish turns and such, particularly when only up against AIs, that would be nice and help a ton I think. But as far as actual lore, factions, depth in characters and the likes goes, not really that much substance.-Though I don't think I've played for that long yet but a few hours in, yes. It feels like it takes forever before it'd be your turn again and tbh, I feel and think that the game is generally good for quick game sessions but not so for anything that actually can take hours to finish given what it is. Would it not be possible to make it so that at least against AI or like single player or so, could you please add something like a simultaneous turn mechanic was it? Something like "The Fallen Enchantress" and "Sid Mier's Civ" games have if I can recall them right.
There's a lot of stuff in this little game!īeing on the faster side compared to other turn based strategy games, you may even be able to finish the hotseat games that you start! Co-op with other players or even with the AI.301 units - 200 without counting upgrades.24 hero classes, with a special skill each.12 factions with special mechanics, strengths and weaknesses. You won't even be able to use the same build order each time you play the same faction. Seek out obelisks to start you on small procedural quests that send you around the world. Hero's Hour brings impactful procedural generation to the strategy game formula, ensuring that every time you play, there will be new areas to explore and strange buildings to enhance your hero or army. Cast spells and give attack orders to swing the tide of battle - or just sit back and watch as your might unfolds. While exploring the overworld and developing your town and army are both turn-based, giving you time to think and plan out your next moves, in battles your units will do the best to fight for themselves in real time - all hundreds of them. Take control of your hero, explore the world, build up your town, fight fast-paced battles, level up your hero and amass an army large enough to take out the opponents - before they take you out. Hero's Hour is an accessible, yet-deep and content-rich Strategy Roleplaying Game. Hero's Hour v 2.0 has now landed on Steam, GoG and of course, here where it all started, on itch.io.
